V.T. Eye & General Hospital is a well equipped health care center Established in the year 2001 by Dr.V.Ramesh, and Mr.S.Venkatesan, to provide wide spectrum of high quality and affordable medical services, and in 2013 General Hospital was converted as a single specialty well equipped EYE HOSPITAL.

Located in the South heart of Chennai, the center is ISO 9001:2015 Certified and is Equipped to provide the highest level of medical and surgical services for children and adults, be it life-threatening illness or traumatic injury to the Eye. The hospital utilizes sophisticated technology for diagnostic and therapeutic purposes manned by specialist doctors and trained Staffs and Optometrist.

We are pioneering in eye care to help the community to fight against the preventable blindness and thereby providing excellent vision. We adhere strictly to the Quality Management protocol as per the NABH.

We at V.T. Eye Hospital provide specialized services including Cataract Surgery, Vitreoretina Surgery, Glaucoma Diagnosis including Treatment and Surgical Management, Retinal Diagnosis including Treatment and Surgical Management.

We conduct community outreach programme to help the poor people to fight against preventable blindness like cataract, where the vision could be restored if diagnosed at early stage.

We do Field Analysis using Computerised Visual Field Analyser, Optical Coherence Tomography for Optic Nerve Analysis, Corneal Topography to diagnose and manage various eye conditions affecting the cornea and a wide variety of Lasers for treatment of Glaucoma such as PRP laser and PI. YAG laser capsulotomy is also done at our facility.
